About this deal

Some of our clocks have a metal hanging rim and some have built-in metal or moulded acrylic brackets. The problem is that the number of hours of daylight we have changes throughout the year, this is also part of our Earth Clock. Earth Clock covers the most interesting and high-impact moments of our planet's geological history with stunning, detailed illustrations, while charting the evolution of life on Earth, from ancient single-celled organisms to the species we know today, until modern humans appear – at just four seconds to midnight.

Although the spinning Earth and orbiting Moon made humanity’s first clocks, they are by no means our last! Elephant's foot can be reduced by lowering the build plate or its temperature, if it happens anyway, it can be fixed by scratching the surface with a blade. Earth Clock is a web-based digital clock assembled from views of Earth from above that resemble numbers. The real difficulty of the design was to find a gear combination linking the day rotation and the year rotation and to keep it compact. Imagine that the Earth spun four times faster, spinning on its axis every six hours instead of a leisurely 24 hours.Customizable Backgrounds: Images of Antarctica, high altitude balloon shots, vast ocean scenery and many others. More than 2,200 years ago, a Greek named Aristarchus of Samos came up with the first known heliocentric model of the solar system. Try to avoid the elephant's foot problem, it happens when the first layer is squished against the build plate, it is annoying when printing pieces intended to be put together, particularly when printing gears… so, despite the fact that the bottom surface remains ugly, I used rafts to print the 6 [16]planetary_gear.

Earth’s history in one day… This illustrated book covers the most interesting and high-impact moments of our planet’s geological history, while charting the evolution of life on Earth, from ancient single-celled organisms to the species we know today, until modern humans appear – at just four seconds to midnight. Every minute, the views jump to a new location revealing a digit that may be a building or terrain in a foreign place, but as we zoom out, we begin to associate it with familiar landscapes, discernible shapes of countries, and the distinct view of our planet. The project is centered on a simple tool: a clock that counts down the critical time window to reach zero emissions (our “ Deadline”), while tracking our progress on key solution pathways (“ Lifelines”).IMPORTANT NOTICE: We use recycled vinyl records, the LABEL on your record clock WILL DIFFER from the one shown in picture. Each item is proudly MADE IN ITALY: we try to stand out of the crowd by not merely designing our products in our country, but we strive to preserve the world famous Italian craftsmanship tradition.
