About this deal

There’s a dispute over where the Miniature and Toy Poodle came as well, with theories suggesting they arrived right after the Standard Poodle, or sometime in the 1400s. Which parent does the Saint Berdoodle take after? St. Berdoodles don’t drool as much as the St. Bernard, thanks to the Poodle parent, and barking is minimal unless they want your attention. Overall, they have the temperament and looks of an adorable stuffed teddy bear. Are Saint Berdoodles high maintenance? You may not have just the same materials from which to make your own card, and the ones I’ve found are not necessarily ideal – for example, my piece of card scrap is too small to fold – but it’s all about improvisation. 'Start where you are, use what you have, do what you can,' and all that.

a rectangular scrap of heavy, cream, watercolour card (400gsm I think) left over from a commission last Christmas The article argues that, by doodling, we may be able to feel more relaxed and concentrate more and that doodles can reveal what is going on in the unconscious.

Purebred and crossbreeds end up in shelters for different reasons, but it’s definitely not their fault. Not a lot of people are aware of this, but adopting has many benefits. Aside from being cheaper, most canines in rescues are already house trained and are easier to deal with than a puppy. The coat of the St. Berdoodle can take after either parent. If it’s long, smooth, and rough, the dog favors the St. Bernard, but if the coat is wiry and curly, the dog takes after the Poodle.

The most common health issues for a Poodle & St. Bernard mix are hip dysplasia, ear infections, and bloat. You can minimize these health complications by keeping them healthy through proper diet and avoiding strenuous exercise. As I keep saying, the aim of this ‘make your own card’ session is to have fun with what’s available right now, not to try to perfect everything. The little leafy flowery bits inside the letter have been filled with light blue, and crisped up with thin painted outlines, and are fine. Van Gogh is not the only painter to have their life’s achievements celebrated with a Vincent Van Gogh Google Doodle, in their unique artistic style. These painters include Rembrandt van Rijn, Pablo Picasso and Claude Monet.Following his stint in Arles, Van Gogh lived in Saint-Rémy, for a year between May 1889 and May 1890. During this time he completed a large amount of artwork including one of his most famous paintings “The Starry Night”, which formed the basis for the Vincent Van Gogh Google Doodle. Other paintings completed during this period include, “Sorrowing Old Man” 1890, “Two Peasant Women Digging in a Snow Covered Field at Sunset” 1890 and “The Round of the Prisoners” also completed in 1890. In the Vincent Van Gogh Google Doodle, the Google logo appeared in its trademark colour scheme of red, blue, green and yellow in its usual font type. However, in the Vincent Van Gogh Google Doodle the font was represented in Vincent Van Gogh’s trademark brush style. A yellow swirl merged into the second “O” of the logo of the Vincent Van Gogh Google Doodle, similar to the swirls which appear in his iconic work “The Starry Night”. I’m not an expert, but doodling has always helped me when I’m bored or even anxious. I may not even realize it at the moment of doodling, but it sure as hell feels like the simplest therapy there is. The paintings from this period, which include “Still-life with Straw Hat and Pipe” and “Still-life with Earthen Pot and Clogs”, feature the fine shading of colours and are characterised by smooth meticulous brush strokes. Towards the end of 1885, Van Gogh moved to Antwerp, here he began drinking absinthe heavily. Whilst here he extended his pallet, which had previously been limited to earthy tones, he introduced carmine, cobalt and emerald green. However due to overworking and excessive smoking, linked to malnutrition Van Gogh became extremely unwell for most of February 1886.

The Saint Bernard has a long history of saving lives since their initial inception in the early 18th century. Whilst in Arles, Van Gogh famously cut off his left ear. It is unknown exactly why he did this although historians attribute it to quarrels with his friend Gauguin and fears that he was going to leave. Van Gogh severed his ear on the evening of December 23 rd 1888. He placed his ear in a parcel and delivered it to a brothel which himself and Gauguin frequented. Following the delivery he returned home, collapsed and was discovered by the police who took him to hospital. Van Gogh claimed to have no memory of these events and historians believe he suffered from an acute psychotic episode. Within a few days he was sectioned, however he made a speedy recovery despite being diagnosed with general delirium and returned home early in January 1889. Personally, I have no idea what I’m going to write, and no intention of spending time trying to choose a 'good' quotation (let alone all the practice). So why not just start ruling up the easiest way possible? If you don’t like your doodles and drawings, maybe all you need is a bit of inspiration and more simplicity. That’s why I’m sharing cute and easy doodles to draw for beginners. The benefits of doodling

Vincent Willem Van Gogh was born in the village of Groot-Zundert, in the Netherlands on March 30 th 1853. His father, Theodurus Van Gogh was a minister for the Dutch Reformed Church. It was noted that as a child Vincent was serious, still and thoughtful. For the first year of his education, 1860, Vincent was taught at the local village school. However from 1861 onwards, Vincent was educated at home with his sister by a governess. This continued until 1864, when Vincent was sent to Jan Provily’s boarding school. The school was situated in Zevenbergen, 20 miles away from the family home, the move caused him much distress. In contrast, the Medium St. Berdoodle isn’t too large or too small. On average, these pups will weigh 40 to 70 pounds (18.1-31.75 kgs) and stand around 23 inches (58.42 cms) tall. You could stunt your puppies’ growth if you feed them too little or put them at higher risk for obesity if you overfeed them.

Following the termination of his employment at Goupil, Van Gogh spent a period of time working as an unpaid supply teacher in England. Before deciding to become assistant to a Methodist minister, during this period he went through a strong religious revival and went to study theology at Amsterdam in 1877. However his ambitions were thwarted when he failed the univerity’s entrance examination. two rather horrible-looking bent-nibbed quill pens I cut more than a year ago – one wide, one narrow – they might work, they might not – use your pens of choice Their protective but nonaggressive nature makes them perfect guard dogs who are agreeable and easy to please. You couldn’t ask for a more easy-going dog. St. Berdoodles weigh 40-49 lbs (18.1-22.2 kgs), 2 cups of an 8 O.Z. measuring cup of dry food will work just fine, but add another ⅓-1/4 cup for every 10 pounds.

On February 22 nd 1890 Van Gogh suffered from a crisis which was to last until April, during this time he was unable to write but still continued to paint and draw. It is believed that Van Gogh shot himself in the stomach with a revolver, although the gun was never found. However some sources argue that he did not shoot himself and was shot instead by accident by two boys who had a malfunctioning gun. The shot wasn’t fatal in of itself, however the two local doctors who treated him were unqualified to remove the bullet through surgery. As a result he died on July 27 th 1890, aged just 37. So far it hasn't been used. So I've decided to load it with red ink and draw some flourishes above the writing. (Even for this super-casual ‘make your own card’ exercise, I don’t fancy trying to draw flourishes with that other nib.) However, the International Designer Canine Registry (IDCR), the American Canine Hybrid Club (ACHC), the Designer Dogs Kennel Club (DDKC), the Dog Registry of America, Inc. (DRA), and the Designer Breed Registry (DBR) all recognize this pup as an official member. On average, the Mini St. Berdoodle will weigh less than 40 pounds (18.1 kgs), but they usually weigh 30 pounds (13.6 kgs). They will stand around 20 inches (50.8 cms) tall.
